I travel internationally a fair bit and my Bose QC2 are more important than getting a business class upgrade :)

I'll keep this short as there are so many reviews of this product. I have owned these headphones for a few years now and during this time I have watched them slowly fall apart. While the sound quality and noise canceling ability is still excellent, the materials used in construction are clearly sub-par.
- the ear pad covers are flaking off
- both arms connecting the ear cups to the head piece are cracked and held together with tape
I expected much better from Bose. Keep looking.

I had heard about the Bose experience from others and during a flight last month asked a fellow airplane passenger if I could try his. Well, I was sold and immeditately ordered a set. I have been on three long-haul international flights and a number of domestic over the past month and can only say that travel has completely changed for the better. I now am able to enter my own universe of music that that I bring along on my i-pod, and watching the movies on the flight are much more satisfying with incredible clarity of sound and noise reduction. While this is an expensive purchase, I am one happy customer and won't leave home without my Bose headphones.
