Outstanding October 13, 2008 135mph (United States) The best thermos I've ever had. The handle folds flush with the unit for easy travelling and the shoulder strap comes in handy when both hands are doing something else. It has a twist and pour feature which means you dont have to remove the stopper to pour. Just turn the stopper about 1/2 a turn. Makes for controlled pouring and prevents unnecessary loss of heat (don't forget to tighten the stopper when you're done). Quality and workmanship is excellent. The stopper and cup both screw/unscrew smoothly and the thermos appears darn near indestructable. It keeps my coffee piping hot for 8hrs easily. The 2 quart model more practical than the 34oz models that seem so popular. 2 quarts is more than enough to hold a full pot of coffee.
Thermos works well. July 5, 2008 Paul G (Wheelersburg, OH United States) I have been keeping drinking water in it for work. Thermos stays in the truck all day usually with the windows rolled up. Even though the temperature in the truck gets quite high the water stays cooler than in my other thermos. Large cup is nice even though it is plastic.
Really effective for hot liquids June 24, 2008 Sarvi Sheybany (Los Angeles, CA) I recently lost mine and replaced it with a different model, also Thermos brand, and now I really appreciate how good my old one was. I drink hot tea all day and since I am drinking out of the outer cap/cup, it really matters to me how well it keeps heat in with only the inner cap on. This one has a relatively deep screw-top portion (it takes several turns to take it off completely), and it is well-fitted. A model that doesn't have these qualities will have a wobbly top that splashes more when you pour, and not as a good a seal, so it loses heat faster. I had my good one for seven years and it was still working perfectly. I am going to purchase this one again even though I just bought another one and the shipping cost seems high, since my local shops don't seem to stock this model in-store for some mysterious reason. It really is that much better.
Very happy with this Thermos/water bottle May 3, 2008 sweetz (Doylestown, PA) My husband ordered this to use as a water bottle at work. He used to carry a large plastic water bottle that was left outside in the sun all day. This new bottle looks great, comes with a cup, and keeps the water cool (not to mention poison free), all day.
Excellent thermos March 8, 2008 M. J. Brown This stainless bottle will keep liquids cold for over 24 hours, even after leaving it in a hot car. It's large size allows me to carry cold water all day as I travel.
