Cat Scratch Fever, No More August 22, 2008 Brent A. Iverson (San Francisco Bay Area) This seems to be the only product that calms our dopey cat named Gus Gus from his anxiety which leads him to use our entry welcome mat as a piddle place. Since using Feliway he hasn't had an "accident". Although the price is a bit high it's worth the cost in replacing mats as well as potential repair of our hardwood floors caused by his damaging urine. This also acts to calm our multiple cat household, helping to avoid conflicts and the always annoying scratching of the furniture.
save your money August 20, 2008 lil man's mom (Oregon) I purchased this product, hoping it would curb my male cat's desire to mark. His marking had intensified since the birth of my child. Marking had always been a part of life for my cat, but only occasionally. Following the birth of my baby, my male cat became an "angry middle child," marking up to 5 times a day! This product was to be my last hope for a pee free zone. I have been using this product for 3 months now, with only mediocre results. The marking has gone down to 2 times a day. But now he marks in front of the outlet where the Comfort Zone is plugged into! Based on my results, I would not recommend this product to anyone.
Helped Greatly....... August 18, 2008 lulubell (New Jersey) This was an awesome improvement in my multiple cat household. Stress and illness caused much inappropriate urination and now I see an 80% difference in this. Very little clean ups and also stress levels have decreased, thusly the fighting has almost stopped. I would definately recommend this produst to anyone who has nervous, or, cats going out of the litterbox. I use the plug ins, one per large room. Seems to really do the trick.
Comfort Zone with Feliway August 8, 2008 Lynn Ryan-loeb (Port St. Lucie, FL USA) One of my kittens had an irrational fear of thunder and would shake uncontrollably, pant, and go into a frenzy whenever there was a storm. My veterinarian recommended Feliway, as it has been known to calm cats and solve all sorts of behavioral problems. I was skeptical, but purchased a 30-day plug-in. The results were remarkable! While the kitten is still not completely comfortable with storms, he is not panicked anymore. He may go into hiding under a bed or behind furniture, but there is no frenzy about it, no shaking, no panting and he comes out readily as soon as the storm has ended. This product is also said to be good for multiple cat households where the cats fight, or litterbox problems (ie. not using it). I can't speak for those problems as we don't have them, but for calming Feliway was superb and I recommend it to everyone who is in this situation!
My cat and my family are no longer stressed out August 5, 2008 Elizabeth Yeager (Allentown, Pennsylvania) We recently adopted a stray who was determined to become impregnated. Well she succeeded in her attempts before they vet was able to spay her and 9 weeks later we have kittens! The only reason I knew when I came down that morning that we had new kitties was our kitchen was COVERED in urine and feces thanks to our male cat (approx 3 years old). So I cleaned it up and gave him the benefit of the doubt and hoped it wouldn't happen again. But it did over and over again. I was at wit's end and knew it wasn't a medical problem. My vet and local rescue shelter recommended Comfort Zone Feliway! This stuff is a lifesaver!!! The cat has been urintating and pooing in the house for 3 weeks now and he hasn't done it since we plugged in the feliway diffuser. It truly does work and is well worth the money spent.
