Product Description The Wagner Paint Crew is an airless piston pump sprayer with the performance of a contractor sprayer yet designed for the homeowner. The paint crew uses standard reversible spray tips and comes complete with hose, tip and metal spray gun.
Amazon.com Product Description The Wagner Spray Tech Paint Crew paint sprayer is specifically designed to spray most architectural coatings including thick (un-thinned) exterior latex paints. The Paint Crew offers the same quality spray pattern as high-priced contractor units, but it's easier to use and more affordable, making it an ideal tool for the do-it-yourselfer. Whether you're painting just the fence or your entire home, the Paint Crew is simple to operate and easy-to-clean for years of trouble-free operation. Wagner's innovative 413 reversible spray tip provides a superior finish and lets you clear clogs fast with a twist of the wrist. A 3/8-horsepower piston pump cranks out 2,750 PSI for tackling multi-story painting projects quickly. A convenient carrying handle and lightweight design ensure easy transport. Best of all, with simplified set-up and clean up, the Paint Crew makes even smaller projects fast and easy. Plus, a 2-gallon hopper offers longer spray time (and less downtime) on those extended applications. Note: This is a factory reconditioned tool and may contain cosmetic blemishes.

Great Tool November 16, 2008 Handy Guy (Ventura, Ca) I have rented professional airless sprayers in the past. The Paint Crew worked equally well. 25 feet of hose is marginal for a big two story house. I had to move the unit almost every time I moved the ladder. Adding a swivel adapter helped with the problems of the stiff hose. After 5 hours and 8 gallons of use I had to clean the intake filter. The viscosity of the paint is critical to an even spray pattern. The unit does not have a pressure adjustment so viscosity is the regulator. I uas using a heavy body paint and added one cup of Flotrol and one cup of water per gallon for stucco. For Wood I added two cups of flotrol per gallon. ( It was a hot day.) Clean up: Wipe the pan clean; purge the pump; added a quart of water to the pan, purge the pump; Do it again: Add a quater of water again and spray it through the hose and gun. Keep doing this until the water is clear. Clean the gun. Oil pump and gun per instructions. Takes 30 min.
Love it!!! November 5, 2008 Drew Mc (NYC) Although there was a little extra prep involved, it made the job not only finish faster, but it made applying the stain very easy and helped me give my new shed a great look! I see why they call it the paint crew, I LOVE this machine! Since I was using latex paint, even the clean-up was pretty easy. The unit was pretty obviously a refurb, but it was in very good shape and for half the price of a new one, who cares! Thanks again Amazon.
For the do it yourselfers... October 26, 2008 Nicholas Martakis (NY) I own Powerpainter plus. It does work fine till it breaks usually around or after 25 gallons of paint. You can rebuild it yourself and forgo sending it of for repairs parts are easy to find to rebuild piston pump which went even though all maintenance was followed. If you are a pro DON'T EVEN THINK OF THIS MACHIENE. Buy A spraytech model instead unless you just want to use it and chuck it plus 25 feet of hose is a joke.
Great Product October 24, 2008 J. L. Brait (Boston, MA) Great product if you take the time to prep. Cleaning unit after project is time consuming. Have to remember to THIN out paint before using (didn't realize this); If not, filter will clog almost instantaneously. Hint: water thins out latex (didn't know this either). Still haven't learned the correct ratio of paint to water.
A great sprayer for the money October 24, 2008 S. Hobbs (Beaverton, OR United States) The refurbished Wagner Paint Crew sprayer only cost $100, and was well worth the money. I had looked at other Wagner sprayers and more commercial brands costing up to $400. I took a chance and tried the Wagner. It worked great! I painted a 200 foot cedar fence in about 2 hours. Previously I had been brush painting it and it took about an hour for 10 feet. Now I am looking forward to the next big paint job.
